WHO WE ARE: Crow Entertainment, LLC is a full time entertainment company. We are large enough to handle major events yet small enough to meet face to face with all of our clients. We are fully insured and belong to ethical business organizations which advocate proper business procedures and the support of local business.

Crow Entertainment is an organization that insists on doing things right the first time. Being an employer allows us to provide jobs for people and in a very small way stimulate the economy. We are recognized by Calvert County and the Bay Business group as a sustainable small business in our local community.

OUR HISTORY: Established in 1997, Crow Entertainment thrived mainly on weddings. This allowed us to specialize in weddings and go beyond the needs of our clients by offering wedding ceremony music, coordination, and specialized services. By 1998 we began to gain the attention of the corporate world, schools, and Venues around the DC and Metro area. In 2001 we moved our operation to North Beach in Calvert County, MD.

Our logo was designed by Alex Lawryczenko, an artist originally from New York who worked with Sony Music. It sets the tone with a Big Band Jazz Appeal. The C and the E are similar to what you might see on the front of a bass drum in the 1940's. This was in honor of Brian's father, William "Mac" McDaniel whose musicianship sparked a major fire in Brian's drive to succeed in the entertainment business. Brian's father had an undying love for the Big Band era.

WHO AND WHERE WE SERVE: Though we are local to the Calvert and Annapolis regions, we travel quite often to other states. Our clients, however, come from all over. We've served clients from Spain, Italy, and many parts of Europe. Many of our clients come from New York, California, and all over the east and west coast. Over the years we have come to be one of the main sources of entertainment for places like Herrington on the Bay, The Chesapeake Beach Hotel and Spa (Rod n Reel), and various other local venues in the Calvert and Annapolis region.

OUR AFFILIATIONS: We belong to the ADJA, AMAEA, and the Bay Business Group, with the focus being on ethical business practices and customer service. These organizations stand up for our rights as entertainers and also assist the consumer in making informed decisions without worries of inexperienced or questionable DJ operations. In short, you should always meet your DJ face to face and check credentials.

PRESENTLY: Today, Crow Entertainment stands strong on its own and provides entertainment for hundreds of customers per season. We've expanded to offer many things but not limited to CD/DVD duplication, audio production, Slide show production, A/V service, and much more. Most recently we joined forces with a local record label to produce and promote recording artist, Nick Harrison.

ON THE GREEN MOVE: We're a lot greener than we used to be as we have been eliminating paper and electricity waste in the office. We've also incorporated the use of LED lighting FX which uses less power. Batteries from microphones and other devices are recycled along with CDs. We've moved to recycled inks in our printers and are on a 90% PDF workflow in our office. 20% of our actual electricity is Green Power. Our carbon print is minimal. Our trash cans are rarely full and we've seen a reduction in our overhead. These savings are passed on to our customers.

DOING BUSINESS: Our name has reached thousands yet we still focus on the small business approach. It is absolutely the best way to do business if you love what you do and aren't interested in simply chasing the dollar bill. We make a comfortable living serving people. Anything beyond that is greed. Because our foundation is solid we have been able to build on it. So many businesses lose focus and treat customers like numbers.
